Mares are the cornerstone to our program. They raise the foal, teaching them manners, and how to behave in a herd and with humans. A good mare is worth her weight in gold!

Sandy – VH Coosegon 2001 APHA Palomino Mare
Sandy was purchased out of a kill pen pregnant with Virginia (Zipped My Scotch) in 2015. She has been the matriarch of our program and has produced several beautiful foals for us over the years. Three of her fillies are currently in our breeding program as well. She is now retired and living with the youngstock teaching them how to behave like horses.
Virginia – Zipped My Scotch 2016 APHA Bay Mare
Virginia was born after I purchased her dam (Sandy) out of a kill pen. I was able to get the breeders certificate and register her. She was super easy to train and even though I never finished training her, she very easily could go back under saddle again. She is so easy to work with and she passes this along to her foals. She is one of my best producers and has given me several nice colts. Her first filly has landed in my keeper pen.
Tilly – NEED TO BREATHE 2019 APHA Dunskin Mare
Tilly was my dream come true after breeding via AI for the first time. She was so easy to work with as a foal and has continued to be amazing with everything she does. She has been making some incredible foals as well which she has passed on her easy going ways and her incredible dun factor.
Jo – UWRF OUTLAWJOSIEWHIZ 2010 AQHA Buckskin Mare
Jo has really brought my favorite bloodlines much closer into my breeding program. As an own granddaughter of Hollywood Dun It and great granddaughter of Topsail Whiz, I couldn’t go wrong. And her foals are proving it! Easy to work with and they think before they react. Couldn’t go wrong when I added her and she has the color to boot!
Babe – Babes One Love 2001 AQHA Bay Mare
Babe was another find in a kill pen. She has amazing bloodlines and though she is older I have a few nice foals out of her.
Fire – MP GENUINE DUN WHIZ 2021 AQHA Dun Mare
Fire was my first foal by my own stallion Steel. She is extremely talented and just entering the broodmare band.
Selene – LENAS DYNAMITE TWIST 2017 APHA Bay Tobiano Mare
I found Selene in MT with her breeder. I had her shipped to me and she has been a delight since. There is not a mean bone in her body and she loves everyone. Now we wait for a dun tobiano filly.
Lucy – MP COOSA MADE BY FAME 2021 Dun Mare
Lucy is a full sister to Tilly. She has been broke to ride and was easy for the trainer. She entered the broodmare band with her first foal in 2025 and he was in your pocket on day one.
